Instinctive Drawing - Collage: Portrait - abstract - Landscapes - Poetry - Mixed-Media - Kinetic Drawing - Painting - Drawing

POETRY COLLAGE

The cut-up collage technique was popularized and developed by Dadaists in the 1920s. Writers, artists & musicians made use of it —William S. Burroughs, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, and Kurt Cobain all used this concept at some point in their work. I will guide you through the process of creating your own unique hand-cut collage artwork. There's no need to have any experience at all. Just enjoy the process and get creative with images and- or words!

INSTINCTIVE DRAWING

This fun, and liberating workshop, is for everyone! Breathe, and dive into your magical inner worlds! I will guide you through different experimental drawing exercises. We will play with different drawing materials and colors. The goal is we will go back to that pure state of being non-judgemental and feeling free like we were as a child. You will learn to 'see' images in your artwork. Connect with your inner world, improve your intuition, and feel relaxed with yourself.

KINETIC DRAWING

Mix movement, fun, and getting dirty with charcoal and chalk, and you get Kinetic Drawing! Remember making snow angels as a kid? Lying on your back in the crispy snow, stretching your arms and legs, and start moving them simultaneously, remember that feeling? A mixture of freedom and joy! And when you got up, your imprint looked like some creature landed there. When I was younger, I was mesmerized and fully hyper-focused when making symmetrical drawings with my fingers in the sand. It was 1 of my rituals to make me feel safe. There's a whole world of neurological advantages linked to this.
